For first-time visitors, we generally recommend booking at least one guided tasting or tour. These experiences offer a great introduction to English wine and often have limited capacity, particularly at weekends.

For our Three Sussex Vineyards Day, our recommended itinerary is:

• Ridgeview: Guided Tour & Tasting, followed by lunch at Rows & Vine
• Artelium: Guided tasting flight of three wines
• Everflyht: Guided tasting of three wines

These experiences are included in the Experience Package, or can be added individually to your Shuttle Ticket during booking.

Prefer a more relaxed day? You're welcome to simply enjoy a glass of wine at each vineyard, explore the grounds, visit the wine shops and soak up the atmosphere. All vineyards serve wine by the glass, flight or bottle, and no experiences are compulsory.

All shared trips depart from Brighton Station. Full meeting point details and a map will be sent in your confirmation email after booking.

Short answer: not automatically — and that's normal for English vineyards.

Standard shuttle tickets include return transport only. Unlike in some wine regions, tastings at English vineyards aren't complimentary — they're hosted experiences run by the vineyard and typically cost £15–£25 per person. Many have limited capacity and book up in advance.

You can add tastings, tours and lunch reservations to your Shuttle Ticket during booking. When booked through Shuttle & Vine, your place is secured in advance, so there's no need to worry about availability on the day.

If you'd prefer everything arranged for you, our Experience Package includes the Shuttle Ticket plus a selection of pre-booked vineyard tastings and experiences at a preferential rate.

Alternatively, all vineyards have bars where you can purchase wine by the glass, flight or bottle on the day.
